The Environment Week: Road Towards a Sustainable Environment #BeTheSolution is a 3-day event organised in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of the World Environment Day celebration, observed annually across the globe every 5th of June. It will consist of a 2-day conference and exhibition that will take place on 26th until 27th June 2023 followed by a 1-day tree planting activity and cleaning campaign tentatively on the 28th June 2023, subject to the moon sighting for 01 Zulhijjah 1444H.
Resource persons and experts will convene for knowledge-sharing sessions therefore presenting opportunities for interactions on the current environmental affairs that revolve around four (4) thematic sessions: (i) Plastic Pollution, (ii) Flammable Refrigerant Management, (iii) Environmental Impact Assessment and (iv) Nature-Based Solutions, through a series of panel discussions and presentations.
